CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR – BASED IN BATHURST

Our rapid growth now requires increased contracts administration and budget control.  We need someone with the know-how and experience to put our project management on a sound and practical footing and work closely with our Project Managers in a support role.  This is a great opportunity for someone qualified and experienced in contracts administration and who is looking for a career move rather than just a job change. ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Professional delivery of industrial end to end projects
  • Commitment to safety and quality compliance
  • Multi-project planning and coordination
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Great communicator
  • Knowledge of construction – preferably steel and precast – and building codes and regulations
  • Ability to work with Site Managers, sub-contractors and Contracts Administrators
  • Manage project budgets
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Willing to travel across NSW
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint

LEADING HAND / CARPENTER

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Akura is looking for an experienced Leading Hand / Carpenter to join our team – we offer an above-Award wage and great conditions.

SALARY:  $110,000 – $140,000 + Super + work vehicle + tools (according to experience)

  • Site mobilisation & establishment
  • Supervising bulk earthworks
  • Detailed building set-out & profiling
  • Excavation & pouring of foundations/piers
  • Structural Steel and precast panel erection
  • Coordination of Fit-out and finishing trades
  • General carpentry and building activities providing overlap between main trades

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Positive attitude towards safety
  • Cert III in Carpentry
  • Industrial building/concrete experience or ready to progress
  • Knowledge of typical construction procedures/sequencing
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Willing team worker
  • An eye for detail and quality
  • Reliable and motivated
  • An efficient operator who appreciates a tidy/clean site
  • Take initiative and accept responsibility
