We are seeking an energetic and reliable Multi-Skilled Labourer, Yardsman & Truck Loader to join our innovative and friendly Bathurst team.

About the Role

  • Loading of structural steel and precast panels
  • Assist with Logistics fleet maintenance
  • Assist truck drivers with restraining loads
  • Ensuring load manifest documentation is accurate and signed off
  • Manage store-room and inbound deliveries
  • Keeping the yard clean and tidy
  • Working with Factory Managers & sub-contracts for streamlined operations

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Positive attitude towards safety
  • Show initiative
  • Willing team worker
  • Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality
  • Reliable and motivated
  • Current forklift licence
  • Current driver’s licence

 

Experience preferred but not essential as on the job training can and will be provided for the right candidate –

  • Preferred understanding of Chain of Responsibility
  • Preferred Load Restraint Experience
  • Semi- Trailer Loading Experience
  • Understanding of legal load restraints
  • Experience or knowledge of working with structural steel
  • EWP ticket
