Contracts Administrator

The role

Located in our Sydney office, the Contracts Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager to deliver various industrial projects, including multimillion-dollar self-storage and warehouse developments across Sydney and Regional NSW, with more exciting projects on the horizon. You will ensure project success through effective contract management, cost control, and strong collaboration with key stakeholders. Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Assist with tendering processes, including reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotes.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Monitor contract performance, manage variations, and track project costs.
  • Support the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance on contractual matters and escalate issues as required to mitigate risk.
  • Ensure all contract records and communications are stored in line with company procedures.

About you

You will be a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator with strong experience managing large-scale, industrial/commercial construction contracts and a proven ability to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. This position requires an individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure project success. You can demonstrate:

  • At least 3-4 experience in contract administration within the construction industry, preferably industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulatory requirements, and project management processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Proficiency in Procore and MS Office Suite are desirable
