The new Memorial Oval Sports Pavilion for Upper Lachlan Shire Council is one of Akura’s latest projects; located in Crookwell, NSW.
The estimated $1,036,613 upgrade to the existing facilities includes the demolition of the toilet, gym and canteen block and construction of a new community sports centre with a club room, gym, change rooms, referee room, storage facility, canteen and toilets with disabled facilities.
It took the Akura team under a week to lift and install 858sqm of panels; all of which were manufactured in Akura’s precast plant and delivered to site via our fleet of trucks.
With over 14 tonnes of structural steel also being manufactured, supplied and erected by Akura, the project scope is a classic example of our U-Select™ Structural Package; combining steel and panels for construction efficiency and accuracy.
The integration of false-joints to the precast panels during the manufacturing process has provided a distinctive finish and is just one of many architecturally designed features/finishes we can achieve.
