Akura were recently engaged to design and construct the perfect industrial/commercial space for Highgrove Bathrooms Bathurst due to their growth. Located at 226 Sydney Rd Kelso the site provides excellent exposure for the Highgrove brand and accessibility for customers.
This top-shelf industrial building is 1,200sqm in size allowing for multi-purpose use, with the front 600sqm being product display and retail space, while the rear accommodates warehousing and stock. The project is made up of over 1,100sqm of precast panels and 18 tonnes of structural steel, both manufactured in-house by Akura minutes away from this high profile site.
The project was complete in a short 6 month period so that the Highgrove team could immediately use front show room and product display for Day to Day retail sales. They also hold stock in the back 600m2 warehouse and were able to commence quickly with our quick turnaround. Our client was truly really happy with the finished product, and had a lot of good words to say such as clean and well-constructed.
Once the project was underway, it was a very straight forward build for Akura. With the polished floor and front facade made from concrete moulds, this property truly reflects the Akura top-shelf quality inside and out.
