Large-scale farming operations are in for the long haul and need farming infrastructure to stand the test of time in the harsh Aussie elements. The sheer size of a Agribuild® Mega-shed demands quality and strength to withstand intense upward and downward pressures. Agribuild® Mega-sheds are designed with heavy duty UB (universal beams) columns and rafters made from Australian steel. Most hay and machinery sheds are built with webbed roof trusses because it is cheaper. Agribuild® Mega-sheds are built with UB rafters because they are tougher. Large footing bolts and baseplate connections will ensure strong ground connection.

  • Heavy-duty UB columns and rafters
  • Strong welded baseplates and 4 x 20mm footing bolts.
  • 100% Australian steel and BlueScope’s ZINCALUME® corrugated cladding.
  • Suitable for most climate zones. (Snow and cyclone applications available on request)
You will remember strength and quality longer than price.

As with any investment, the biggest challenge is how soon can you achieve a return on your investment. We have challenged the status quo and narrowed down the industry standard lead time for a large-scale building kit. A standard spec Agribuild® Mega-Shed building kit can be delivered anywhere in Australia within 6 weeks from receipt of deposit. Optioned up shed kits will add 2-4 weeks to the standard delivery time.

It’s all about the design and quality. Agribuild® Mega-sheds are designed and manufactured by hands-on builders that have a passion for construction efficiencies, simplicity, and high-quality outcomes.

  • Our modelling and detailing software talks directly to our automated CNC machines, guaranteeing 100% of connections will align.
  • We provide detailed installation drawings and videos.
  • You can build it yourself, contract a local builder, or alternatively we can partner you with an experienced installer.

Farmers understand more than anyone how weather events can impact on productivity, quality of product and therefore profitability. Agribuild® Mega-sheds are used in large-scale farming operations as machinery workshops, hay and grain storage, or a combination of both.

  • Preserve the quality of your hay to achieve higher prices and cut annual losses by up to 25%
  • Store larger volumes of hay to reduce stress at harvest time, provide greater marketing flexibility and ongoing cash flow.
  • Achieve faster and more efficient loading and unloading of hay bales with wide bay openings higher clearances.
Less downtime, more market flexibility, higher prices = Increased Profits.
Obtaining a building permit for a Agribuild® Mega-shed can be achieved through a Complying Development fast-track approvals process under the Inland Code. This usually takes around 20 days or less and usually cost between $500 -$1000 depending on your local council. We’ll provide you with the Architectural and structural drawings, Engineers certificate and a list of actions and processes to obtain a permit.
